Truth today: “I have a Destiny” as a Child of God.
Jeremiah 1:4-10 NKJV, Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.: 6 Then said I: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” 7 But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak.8 Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord. 9 Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. 10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.
1. The Biblical Truth of a Personal Destiny
Jeremiah, “Before you were born… I ordained you a prophet.”
Plan for your life, my plan not your plan.
Ephesians 1:11, "In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will."
2 Timothy 1:9, "Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began."
Ephesians 1:4, "Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love."
Jeremiah, I know you, set you apart, appointed you. Specific plans: called destiny.
Samson: angel God appeared to his mother. Have a son, mission, ordained of God before ever born.
John Baptist: 700 years before born prophet Isaiah said, one crying in the wilderness, God spoke to his mother. Before he was ever born. Mission work, plan, design, blueprint.
Isaac and Rebekah . . Having a baby . . .God tells here . . .
Genesis 25:23, And the Lord said to her: “Two nations are in your womb, (before ultrasound) Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.”
Genesis 16:11-12, And the Angel of the Lord said to her: “Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, Because the Lord has heard your affliction. 12 He shall be a wild man; His hand shall be against every man, And every man’s hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.”
2. Destiny happens in steps
Many what life to be like Lottery. Or they want to find a Magic Pill. Destiny a series of moments.
Psalm 37:23 NKJV, The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
Steps brought where you are today.
Series of steps to bring you where you need to be.
I'm talking about a Process.
Elisha is a good example:
2 Kings 2: And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2 Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel. 3 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master [a]from over you today?”And he said, “Yes, I know; keep silent!” 4 Then Elijah said to him “Elisha, stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Jericho.” But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they came to Jericho.5 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?”So he answered, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”6 Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to the Jordan.”But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So the two of them went on.
Their responsibility to discover that.

Exodus 25:9, According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it.
• David
1 Chronicles 28:11, Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the vestibule, its houses, its treasuries, its upper chambers, its inner chambers, and the place of the mercy seat;
God is not going to do this . .. YOU MUCH SOLOMON.
God has a work for them to do, blueprint, they must fulfill. Here is the plan, You build.
• Noah: Ark
Genesis 6:14-15, Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. 15 And this is how you shall make it.
God gives blueprint, you now must fulfill plan. PROCESS
If you don’t go through the process to get it you won’t have power to keep it.
3. The Process is Determined by the choices we make.
Jeremiah: I can’t do this!
God: Say not I am a child.
You can do what I called you to do and ordained to do.
My responsibility rise up seize destiny not be turned aside.

4. God’s Destiny is good for you not Bad.
1 Corinthians 2:9, But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
God assumes the responsibility of drawing you and setting up the elements around you to be at the right place and the right time.
Esther 4:4 "For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Romans 8:28 NKJV, We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
5. Understanding Destiny leads to Contentment.
1 Timothy 6:6 NKJV, But godliness with contentment is great gain.
Rahab was harlot, destiny was to be great-grandmother of David. Boaz’s mother.
Ruth the Moabite, Became Jessy Mom. David’s Grandmother….lineage of Jesus Christ
The Shunammite woman: Destiny: Build the Prophet a God a room. To become an eternal testimony of Giving, Faith, Persistence . .. Miracle power of God when her son died.
Heman the singer,(1 Chronicles 6:33) his destiny was to establish worship and singing in the Tabernacle of God.
Man born blind:
John 9:2-3, “His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.”
Mary the Mother of Jesus: What did she do? Had a baby, was a good mother. That was her destiny.
You have a DESTINY that INVOLVES ETERNITY. . . .
Only in eternity will we know the full extent of what God accomplished through your GODLY life and example. . . .
