Happy Monday Morning.
When I pray and have a special time with the Lord, I like to make the Scriptures personal. This is one of my prayers based on Colossians 1:9-14.
I ask You Father to give me a complete understanding of what You want to do in my life. I ask You to make me wise with spiritual wisdom, then the way I live will always honor and please You Lord. I will continually do good, kind things for others. I will learn to know You better and better. I also pray that I will be strengthened with Your glorious power so that I will have all the patience and endurance I need. May I be filled with joy, giving thanks to You my Father since you have qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light. You have delivered me from the power of darkness and carried me into the kingdom of the Son of Your love, in whom I have redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness of sins.
I pray this prayer for everyone reading MondayMorning today. Let every request and promise in this prayer become real in their lives today.
I spoke with John Malcom from Calvary Church in Hong Kong. The good news is that they are doing well in spite of the over two years of covid restrictions. He said the Chinese Government is bringing pastors to Beijing to instruct them on what they can and cannot do in their churches. Please pray for all the gospel preaching churches in Hong Kong.
Janet and I are in Dallas, Texas with Pastors Ernest and Bunny Reynosa. We had a great time Saturday and Sunday at One Voice Church. We value these lifelong friends and co-workers. The Dallas church is a great group of faithful people of God.
Thank you Pastors Ernest and Bunny for hosting us for the weekend. Our special thanks to the One Voice Church folks.

Last Monday we shared our first post from my archives of Dr. John Holland. The story, "Would you hold my baby" was warmly received by so many of our club reader. Here goes another jewel from my files of Dr. John Holland.
Dr. John Holland
I was in my early twenties and was conducting the funeral of my Grandma Long. Her family was large, and she was the grandma of them all. There was only standing room in the church. They came to honor this extraordinary woman. The patriarch of the family had passed away at the ripe old age of ninety-one years.
All ages were there from the very old to the very young. I could hear the assortments of coughs, cries of babies, and the whispers of the grieving family. I did my best in the service, then we had the prolonged goodbyes of the family.
Then my grandpa Long came and stood by the coffin of his loving wife of over seventy-one years. Continue to read.

This week Janet and I drove from Tucson, Arizona to Rancho Cucamonga, California (7 hours). So I got to listen to few podcast. I have followed Cary Nieuwhof's podcast the past few years. This one based upon his new book was really good. Andy Stanley interviews Cary about his new book "At your Best, Stress Less Achieve More." I"m going to get the book but the podcast really brings some great thoughts everyone can use. Click here or on the image to listen to the interview.
Living Your Hope Live
Two brothers in the Living Hope Family Church in Tucson produce, "Living Your Hope Live" every Wednesday. Joe Olsson started Living Your Hope Live in 2020 when churches were shutdown. He wanted to give us something that brought a good message from the Word of God along with some fun and humor. We show it every Wednesday in the Lobby at Living Hope Family Church in Tucson and then have a discussion and prayer time. It's a great platform to host a small group.
Vaccinate or not to Vaccinate?
Millions of people around the world are asking that question. In America the pressure is mounting to get vaccinated. The government seems to be trying to find ways to punish people who choose not to be vaccinated. I have talked with many people who are willing to lose their jobs rather than be vaccinated.
We have had a lot of people contacting us about the religious exemption. They want to know if they can claim a religious exemption. How to claim it. What do proof do they need. Big questions.
Dr Brown does not assume to tell anyone what to do. I think his show gives some good insight that might help you decide if you contemplating to vaccinate or not to vaccinate. Here is the link to his show.
The Legal approach. He speaks with Christian attorney Joe Infranco about the legal issues concerning the President's order trying to force people to be vaccinated. He addresses the religious exemption possibilities
The show he had a leading medical person on and talked about the medical side of the vaccination.
We had Dr. Michael Brown speak at the PC Global Conference on "CULTURE." The messages he shared at that conference are more relevant today. Check out his open night message on, "The Church and Culture."
