PRAY FOR LOS ANGELES

Pray for Los Angeles

I'm inviting you to join in prayer for a balanced, compassionate, and just resolution to America's broken immigration system. For decades, this system has caused uncertainty and hardship for millions of individuals and families and continues to demand urgent attention.

While compassion and dignity must guide us, we must also recognize the importance of enforcing and respecting established laws. Millions of individuals have lived and worked in America, often undocumented but permitted or overlooked by past policies. They've contributed positively to our economy, communities, and churches, and through hard work, they've paid their taxes. However, the presence of undocumented individuals highlights the crucial need for reform to our immigration system.

Mass deportations are neither practical nor humane. A just solution must balance enforcing the law and showing compassion for those who have built lives and families here under existing circumstances.

Please join me in prayer:

  • Pray for wisdom and courage for our government leaders to create and enforce fair, compassionate, and effective immigration laws.

  • Pray for stability, safety, and dignity for immigrant families facing uncertainty.

  • Pray for a balanced approach that respects human dignity.

Let's seek God's guidance for solutions that uphold justice and compassion.

Prayer alone is not enough. True Christians must let their voices be heard respectfully yet firmly—through pulpits, social media, and peaceful appeals—to encourage our government to correct the system thoughtfully before causing unnecessary disruption to families and communities.

Los Angeles is our home; our churches are home to many families caught in this immigration web. They are our friends, brothers, and sisters; their children play with your children, we worship together,

We want to do our best at this critical time.
