John 6:63 ESV, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.”
Acts 2:17, “I will pour out my Spirit on all people.”
1. We are the Hosts of the Presence of God
Colossians 1:26-27 ESV, The mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. 27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Ephesians 5:18, “Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
2. It takes “2” You and the God the Holy Spirit
“Not my will, but Your will be done.” Jesus
Matthew 7:9, Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
3. Hosting the Spirit is YOUR ASSIGNMENT as a SPIRIT FILLED BELIEVER.
Don't quench the spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5:19, “Do not quench the Spirit.
Quenching Holy Spirit is to stop the flow of Holy Spirit
Don't grieve the spirit.
Ephesians 4:30, And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Every step I'm make, every move I make is with the Holy Spirit in mind.
All my movements, all my actions, my words were everything. Everything is done to honor this great and amazing gift called the Holy Spirit that is with me.
1 Thessalonians 5:23, May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
