Oil Field Fires or Fires of Revival?

It was inevitable that some country or terror group would eventually target the oil fields in the Middle East. Now with drones, some group has. Within moments the world powers began to react.

Will the nations that depend upon oil for their prosperity sit back and do nothing? What if there are more drone attacks on the world’s oil supplies? Is there a connection to the attacks on the Saudi Oil fields and the End Time.

Should we focus on the Oil Field Fires or Revival Fires?

Jesus then said to the crowds gathered around him, “When you see a cloud forming in the west, don’t you say, ‘A storm is brewing’? And then it arrives. And when you feel the south wind blowing, you say, ‘A heat wave is on the way.’ And so it happens. What hypocrites! You are such experts at forecasting the weather, but you are totally unwilling to understand the spiritual significance of the time you’re living in” (Luke 12:54-56 TPT).

On September 15, 2015 as I was praying, I felt the Holy Spirit tell me this,

“I am drawing the world to Israel and the Middle East. The nations are being drawn to where they do not want to go, to do what they do not want to do. Leaders are trying to stay out of the Middle East, but they cannot. I am taking the world there for the accounting and for the end time events. No one will be able to understand why they are doing what they are doing. Leaders will be frustrated because they cannot control their own destiny. Neither armies, nor weapons will control or stop what is going to happen.”

Perhaps we should view these oil Fires as a wake-up call.

1. Pay Attention “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; 36 and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching” (Luke 12:35-27 NKJV).

2. Pray “The moment you began praying, a command was given” (Daniel 9:23 NLT).

3. Preach “Go out and preach the word! Go whether it’s an opportune time or not! (2 Timothy 4:2).

4. Prepare “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36).

As I finish this MondayMorning blog, I am thinking about the beautiful promise in Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”

We serve the, “Prince of Peace.” We know who holds the future.
