Power Grace

There are no losers in God's Economy!

Hebrews 4:14-16, “Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

1. Draw near through Humility

Hebrews 4:14-5 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses.

2 Chronicles 7:14, If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Come as child…..

2 Samuel 22:28, You will save the humble people; But Your eyes are on the haughty, that You may bring them down.

2. Draw near through Prayer

Matthew 26:36, Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.37 And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.” 39 And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”

Philippines 4:12, I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. 13 For I can do everything through Christ,[a] who gives me strength.

1 Corinthians 12:8, Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

3. Draw Near through Power of Song and Worship

Psalm 100:1, Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his.We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

Isaiah 54:1-5 “Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud,

Ex: Story of Jehoshaphat!

2 Chronicles 20:12 NLT, O our God, won’t you stop them? We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. We do not know what to do, but we are looking to you for help.”

2 Chronicles 20:21, The king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang: “Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!”

Praise is verbalized faith.

What’s Happening:

(1.) When we Worship we take our eyes off the problem and put our eyes on God’s strength and God’s power.

(2.) Worship recognizes God’s Greatness! Who God is!

When we Worship we remind ourselves what God has done.

Worship! Humbling yourself. No matter how strong, smart, educated, successful you are!

2 Chronicles 20:25-26 NLT, King Jehoshaphat and his men went out to gather the plunder. They found vast amounts of equipment, clothing, and other valuables—more than they could carry. There was so much plunder that it took them three days just to collect it all! On the fourth day they gathered in the Valley of Blessing, which got its name that day because the people praised and thanked the Lord there. It is still called the Valley of Blessing today.

God wants to bless your life so much that you can’t even handle it.

God wants you to come Boldly to Him. To the Throne of Grace. TO find mercy and help in your time of need.

Have a great week,
