Promises & Provisions in Difficult Times

Christmas Sunday December 20th

1. Christian Life is always a Walk of Faith.

“And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” . Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. (Luke 1:26)

"Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is [a]conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:20)

2. Always Promises to hold on to.

And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” (Luke 1:31-32)

3. Provisions are in the Promises.

(Wise men) "They entered the house where the child and his mother, Mary, were, and they fell down before him and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh." (Matthew 2:11NLT)

Isaiah 43:2 NLT, When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

Have a very Merry Christmas
