Pastor Larry's message Sunday July 26th at Praise Chapel. He is show how God is invovled in this pandemic for His greater purposes.
He is teaching from the stroy of Joseph, showing that God is invovled in all the affairs of life. Using on of the most important scriptures in the Bible.
Genesis 50:19–20, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.”
1. DO NOT FEAR
In most of our messages during Covid-19 we have referenced John 14:1, where Jesus told His disciples, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. . . " Here Jospeh tell his brothers, "Do not fear..." It is very important as we consider the "Signs of the Times," that we do not worry or fear but have faith in God.
1 Corinthians 10:13 TPT, We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously.
Exodus 3:7, The Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.
Matthew 24:8, All these are the beginning of sorrows.
2. Believe that God has a Purpose for you and His church
1 Peter 2:9 (NLT), For you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
3. God is wanting his church to Call upon Him.
Exodus 3:7, The Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.
Philippians 1:6 NLT, I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
